You (yes, you) can apply to be in the 2013 Asheville Fringe Arts Festival. go to this link  www.ashevillefringe.org/application  and get cracking on an awesome piece.
This coming festival is trying something a little new: Fringe Features. They will be longer pieces, more developed, a little bigger and deeper.
3-4 of these will be packaged as a distinct Fringe show.

Also worth noting is that the festival is partnering with the Asheville Art Museum and MAP (Media Arts Project) to feature new media work in the museum's media gallery and presentation spaces during the festival.
There are some exciting opportunities to collaborate with a variety of multimedia artists. Let's fringe together.
